La Vieille Tour Residence

The residence, situated on the grounds of the Auberge de la Vieille Tour (4 *), is ideally located beachfront at the entrance of the town of Gosier. This beautiful residence, formerly the Sofitel, is composed of spacious studios with views of the sea and of the islet of Gosier. It will welcome you for a quiet holiday. Its beautiful flower tropical garden of 8000 m2 and its direct access to a small private beach will enchant you.

A few steps away from the residence, you will find restaurants, casino, a typical night market and all amenities. At the private beach, you will spend unforgettable holidays. The residence also has a tennis court. For water sports lovers, many activities are available in hotels nearby (scuba diving, deep sea diving, jet skiing, hydro-ULM, windsurfing, surfing and so on).

The central position of the residence will allow you to make the most of this beautiful island of Guadeloupe, also known as Karukera, the island of beautiful waters in the Amerindian language. You can discover the Basse-Terre with its volcano, its rainforest, waterfalls and hiking trails and the Grande-Terre with its magnificent white sand beaches and coconut trees.

Airport

The Pole Caraibes International Airport is 13 km away from the residence. If you do not rent a car upon arrival, a taxi to the residence costs between € 25 and € 30

Harbour

The Pointe-à-Pitre harbour is 9 km away. Many cruise ships are calling from November to April (for the majority of them). Nearby, you can embark on shuttles that will take you to the islands of Les Saintes and Marie-Galante.

Bus

Many buses pass through the town of Gosier. A stop is located opposite the residence and will be convenient for short trips, if you do not rent a vehicle.

Car

Renting a car is recommended to make the most of your stay and explore the island independently. The ideal is to rent a car upon arrival at the airport, either through major retailers or smaller local rental companies that come to pick you off the plane.
